Music that is downloaded should not be free because if that is the case then the producers of the music will not be getting payed for their hard work. If the musical industry uses a lot of money and hard work into creating the albums of famous artists and when consumers download the songs for free, then the industry is not getting payed.
If digital distribution is allowed then the working industry will not have enough money to pay the employees.
